The relocated building was officially opened at Wandi on Saturday 18 November, 2006.
The two classrooms were first established in Naval Base in 1959.
In 1964 an extra room was added to the centre of the block which was re-located to Hope Valley. Another classroom, library and office were added over time at the Mc Laren Ave site.
A year after the school closed it was moved to Wandi and renovated by a dedicated group of volunteers.
Ex-students and other Wandi residents attended the opening by the Mayor of Kwinana.
The classrooms have been fully restored to their former glory.
The covered area was also moved to the site and has been enclosed to provide workshops for community groups.
